Lawrence J. Smith
Lawrence J. Smith is a Partner at the firm. He was born and raised in Urbana, Ohio, where he learned the value of hard work and the importance of making sure your word is your bond. He served in the United States Air Force for over three years, ultimately being stationed at Nellis Air Force Base, Las Vegas, NV. After leaving the military Mr. Smith has made Las Vegas his home and has lived here since 1977.
Mr. Smith received his B.A. from University of Nevada, where he graduated Summa Cum Laude. He then went on to achieve his J.D. with an emphasis in civil litigation from Baylor School of Law.
Mr. Smith has been trial counsel on multiple cases resulting in multimillion dollar verdicts, is a member of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum, the College of Advocacy Hastings College of the Law and the Nevada Trial Lawyers Association. He is licensed to practice in the U.S. District Court and all courts in the State of Nevada. His practice involves personal injury and product liability law.
In 2004, Mr. Smith received the Sally Loehrer Pro Bono Service Award. He is a frequent participant in the Helen Jydstrup Elementary School Career Day. When he is not working, he enjoys traveling and spending time with his wife, five children, two grandchildren and two dogs.
Mr. Smith is one of the Lifetime Achievement Members to America’s Top 100 Attorneys.
